Note: Exact citation must accompany order, i.e., volume, publication name, page numbers.

Hours of Operation

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.



 

 

 

 

Charges (Invoices accompany filled orders.)

24 hour turnaround:
$20 per citation, plus $0.25 per exposure ($1.00 per exposure charge for long distance faxes.)

3 hour “rush” service:
$7.50 per citation surcharge

Note: When possible, an exposure will include two pages from the original document.

Methods of Delivery

Fax:
Orders are automatically faxed unless the order exceeds 25 exposures, or unless an alternate means of delivery is requested.

U.S. mail:
Deposited with the U.S. mail within 24 hours.
Not available for three-hour “rush” orders.

Federal Express:
Requires your firm’s Federal Express account number.
Deposited with Federal Express within 24 hours.

You can also request "Hold for pickup" at the library or delivery via e-mail and a PDF formatted document will be sent to your email address.

Time Frame For Delivery

Standard: 24 hours
Note: Orders shipped via U.S. post or Federal express are deposited with those services within 24 hours

Rush: 3 hours
$7.50 surcharge.
Not available with orders shipped via U.S. post. Orders received after 3:00 p.m. may not be processed that day.

Placing Photocopy Orders

Web: Complete the Photocopy Request Form and click the "submit" button.

Fax: Complete the Law Library’s Photocopy Request Form, print the complete form, then fax it to 214-768-4330.

Mail: Orders may be placed by mail addressed to: Circulation Department, SMU Underwood Law Library, P.O. Box 750354, Dallas, TX 75275-0354.

Email: Copy the Photocopy Request Form into your email message, complete the form, and send it to lawcirc@list.smu.edu.

Billing

Invoices will accompany filled orders.
